[As promised, Crystal makes the incredibly short trip from House 11 to Flame Building relatively early. She's dressed the way anyone expecting to do a lot of movement is - fit clothes and, because it's summer and warm, they're both sleeveless and short.

She'll shift on her feet if she has to wait on him; or, if he's already there, she'll give him a wave with her left hand. Her right's in a pretty plain looking cast, fingers flexing carefully and slowly every few seconds to keep them from getting stiff.]

[Sadly Evan was not as punctual as Crystal. He jogs out of the flame building a few minutes after she arrives outside, a bundle tied over his back, the knot easy to reach on his front.

He is also dressed for exercise, having found himself a tank and loose pants, not being one for shorts. Strangely enough he is also barefoot, toes showing as he walks over. In case Crystal hadn't quite noticed before, it is very obvious that Evan only has one arm, the left one missing.]

[She only gives it a curious glance - as anyone would - before smiling. People sometimes came out with similar injuries in her world, depending on how careful they were dealing with wild pokémon -- it's just how the trade goes. So to speak.]

I was just early. [She glances back to the house, then -- attention's right back to her new instructor. Then to his feet. Oh -- were they --] Are we going to do this outside?

[The briefly curious glance was kind of nice. THough he's gotten used to all sorts of stares over the years. THose who simply accepted it were the best though.

Evan smiled at Crystal, bouncing up a bit on his toes.]

Yup. Since it's the first lesson, I'm going to assess you, and your physical limits first. We'll still get to some defensive moves this time around though. Once we're done, we'll figure out a proper schedule ok?

[It sounds fair enough to her. She'll slip her shoes off too - make it fair - and shifts from one foot to the other. Not impatiently, but more like someone getting ready to do what they need to do. Breathe in, breathe out. Good.]
